Android Email Configuration

These settings are for the standard Android phones; some Android phones may vary.

1. From the Home screen

2. Expand the Applications Tray by pressing the icon at the bottom of the screen

3. Click the E-mail icon to launch your e-mail client

a. If an account is already configured, please do the following to add an additional account:

i. Press the Menu button

ii. Press the Accounts button

iii. Press the Menu button again, then select Add Account

4. Enter your email address and password, then press Next

5. When prompted to select the type of e-mail account you wish to configure, select IMAP

6. The screen will now display the incoming email settings. The settings should be as follows:

a. Username: Your full email address

b. Password:Your password

c. IMAP Server: mail.iatse501.com

d. Port: 143

e. Security Type: none

f. IMAP Path Prefix: leave blank

7. Press the Next at the bottom of the screen

8. The phone will now attempt to connect to the IMAP server to verify incoming email settings

9. The screen will now display the outgoing email settings. The settings should be as follows:

a. SMTP Server: mail.iatse501.com

b. Port: 587

c. Security Type: None

d. Require Sign-In: Check this box

e. Username: Your full email address

f. Password: Your password

10. Click Next

11. There will now be a prompt to select how often to check for new messages, phone's default e-mail account, and whether to receive an audible notification when new messages arrive.

12. Click Done
